FUL - July Kit - Enjoy Nature!

Hello my Paper & Uni friends!
Today I'm sharing my second layout made with the wonderful Flying Unicorn July Kit. My oh my the quality of the 49 and Market papers are fabulous and the patterns are absolutely delish. You're sure to be a happy crafter when you get your hands on those.

For this layout I had the perfect picture. My daughter took this one at a butterfly sanctuary at the Science Museum here in Houston. Perfect colors to what I was planning to do. I first prepped my papers because I was sure to be doing lots of mixed media. Once dry I used the stencil with a mixture of  Lindy's mist mixed with the Prima Texture powder to make my own paste. It gives it a nice course texture. It's a beautiful green. Most of all it dries quick too. I used a lot of mist on this page and background stamping.

From a different page I cut out some beautiful flowers and leaves to use in my layering. I also used several dies to cut out a frame and a variety of leaves. Time to assemble and start the layering and stacking. For this layout I used a Petaloo flower pack that sort of matched the flower in the picture. Some scattered pearls and a final splatter and we're done. The cork title is just a perfect finish.
