7Dots - April Challenge - Choose your own adventure!

For my Sisters 50th I made her this bright layout.
Fits right in with 7Dots this months color scheme.

Last year we were just enjoying a nice Sunset at a nice terrace on the beach in the Netherlands during my visit. So nice and relaxing. Perfect opportunity for a great picture.
I gave her the layout last week and she loved it.

Fun fact also is that I've not been scrapping a lot in the last 8 months because after Hurricane Harvey my house has been under construction and most of my scrapbook materials are in storage, but even with the limited supplies we can create.

Have a great day all!

Everlasting Love! - MTW Challege

Hello More Than Word and Paper friends!
Thank you so much for stopping by at my blog.
I always appreciate you having a look at my work.
August is a special month for my and my husband. We celebrate our Anniversary and this month was our 26th. I can honestly say we have the harmony thing covered. Our kids tell us regularly that the example we've set has made it hard for them to find life partners themselves. Hmm, I guess that's a good thing right?!
The title, well besides the obvious, the original song was by Carl Carlton way back in the 70 I think, but the version both my husband and I love is the one by Gloria Estefan. When I met him and went through his CD collection I was so surprised he had her CD's, ha! We still love her music.

For this layout I used the 7Dots - Dreamscapes papers.
The chipboards are from Creative Embellishments.
The back ground textures are Prima's White Crackle and BoBunny's Graphite Glitter paste. Both of them I used with 7Dots stencils.
All the background colors are Lindy's Stamp Gang and Tim Holtz Distress Oxides.
All the flowers are Petaloos and some of them I colored with a variety of sprays to fit the color-scheme I was going for.
The love-heart is a Prima-Mechanical.
Some glitters and micro beads to finish off the layout.

A few close-ups!

Thank you so much for checking out my blog!

Have a great weekend!

Be You! - 7Dots Studios Challenge

Hello my wonderful Paper and 7Dots friends!
I'm sharing with you a special layout today!
Not only is the challenge about your favorite person and/or hero which for me was very easy to pick. We're also celebrating our 26th anniversary today. So I just had to finish this layout quickly and post it. Ever since we've been together he's been my rock! With a surprising soft side, hihi.
We love watching our Disney movies in the weekends and had a ball during our trip to Disney World in May.

Some close-ups of my layout with the wonderful Dreamscapes papers!

Highlight! - MMP-Cuts2Luv

Hello my crafty friends!
Thank you for visiting my blog! I hope that if you like it that you'll become a follower of it! Just click on the right hand side! That would be so awesome.
In the meantime ... sharing my latest that fits 2 challenges for this month.
The Mixed Media Place challenge and the Cuts2Luv one.

For the papers I've used 49 and market papers and the I did some fuzzy cutting. Their papers are excellent for this. The white leaves are made from a 49 and Market embossed stamp too.
I loved this picture of Tinkerbell I took at the Disney World Epcot Center. It was in the Great Britain part right beside the tea shop. Funny how we all like different things when we visiting these parks.
