ScrapBerry's - Happy Holidays - December 25th

Hallo Paper and ScrapBerry's friends! Today I'm sharing a layout using the Once Upon a Winter collection with some fun mixed media.

I prepped the paper first with clear gesso and used a stencil with paste to create texture.

The Happy Holiday stamps were added around the page for some random effect.  Once the background was done I positioned all my papers and chipboard pieces to create the layers.

Next I added all the mixed media to the page to finish it off.

On the ScrapBerry's blog we're still doing our XMas Challenge, I hope you'll join in.

Thank you for looking!

Prima - Sweet Peppermint - Christmas Cards

Sharing today 2 Christmas cards I made with the Prima Marketing - Sweet Peppermint collection.

I used a Christmas ball shape as the base of my card. I chose the size of my card. Made a circle and attached a tab. Voila a Christmas Ball.

To create some layers I made some smaller circles in different patterned paper and cheesecloth.

On the background I used Snowflake paste with a stencil for an extra sparkly background.

Once all dry it's time for all the beautiful Sweet Peppermint flowers and decorations.

I hope you like my creations and if so maybe you'd like to flow me! That be so awesome!

Thanks for looking!
Have a great day!

Hello Paper friends!
Sharing with you a layout I've made as Guest designer for the Scraps N Pieces December Challenge. After winning the October Challenge I was asked to submit my entry for December and am so very honored. Look at that gorgeous mood board.

I chose to work with the Maja Design - I Wish collection. It is beautiful and perfect to work with on a layered project. For my background I used a 13@rts stencil - Greetings. Used it with ink and Snowflake paste.

Most of my layering was done using the fun sheet with all the stamps and cut-outs.

Decorated with an assortment of Petaloo flowers, lace, chipboard and inks. The chipboard used is by Scrapiniec.

Scrapberry's - December - Noel

Hello ScrapBerry's and paper friends!
Today I'm sharing with you a shabby chic, nostalgic card made with the wonderful ScrapBerry's Winter Joy collection. I have to say, this collection just keeps on giving. I just love it.
Beautiful background papers and fuzzy-cut options galore.

The vintage pictures are a perfect backdrop for my card and this little girl was outdoors so I chose to cut out the cute little deer and Christmas tree from a different page to continue the same feel.

I cut a few pieces of different background papers from the collection to create my layers. and started stacking. The polymer column added a nice little feature.

For some extra pizzazz some snowflake paste and title and we're all done!

ScrapBerry's - Christmas Wall Hanger

Hello ScrapBerry's and Paper friends!

Lydia here today with you showing a fun Christmas wall hanger using the ScrapBerry's-Once Upon A Winter collection.

I started with a block of wood that I dry brushed with white heavy gesso. Once that was dry I went over it with a mint green acrylic. Not being too thorough, leaving some white spots here and there. After this I sanded some parts to create a weathered look.

For the background I  used a die-cut that was the perfect size for a nice border and added a mat under it. I now had the basis for my winter scene. Time to start some fuzzy-cutting. The boy and the girl are so cute. I used some sisal for grass. Added a polymer bench and flower decorations and painted them.

Tucked in a couple of chipboard snowflakes so all in all a nicely layered project topped off with a nice silk ribbon bow. Everything covered with a nice dollop of snow and it looks like our cute couple is strolling through the snow.

I hope you like the project. Thank you so much for looking.

This moment!

Hello Paper friends!

This year is my 25th Anniversary and that's of course the perfect reason to go through some of my old wedding photo's to give it a new staging.

7Dots - November Challenge - Link

I started of with stamping and using a couple of stencils and past to create an interesting background. I love the 7Dots Studio collection packs because you have so much choice in creating a layered project.

Part of the layering are these wonderful Snipart chipboard pieces and the title. I kept them as they were. The color scheme was quite simple.

For the flowers I chose a mixture of Prima and Petaloo flowers and kept it in the same colors.
A seambinding bow in the right color and we're almost done.

Some final splatters and the layout is all done!

Thank you so much for looking.

If you like my projects I hope you'd like to follow me! That would be really nice.
