Stand Tall!

Hello my Paper friends!

Today is an special day is the US. Independence day. A day that's being celebrated througout the country. I've only moved here almost 8 years ago and it's funny even when we didn't live here we were already celebrating it by watching the movie and eating hotdogs. Who knew we would actually end up living here. 

With this layout I'm entering several challenges. I think the layout combines the themes of these perfectly. 

The heart is made out of cheesecloth, and I used gel medium, crackle paste, mini art stones and silver beads on them. 

The chipboard is painted with Finnabairs Deep Water paint and over it I used Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint. Close up it gives a beautiful effect.

Lots of stamping and splattering around the page to show the fireworks we no doubt will see during this festive weekend.  

I'm also entering this layout into the Creative Embellishments challenge. The stars and stripes are perfect for this.

The layout also fits the guidelines for the CSI 206 case file.
