CSI - 216 - Too Soon!!!

Sharing with you another layout I made for the CSI files. They're very fun to do. Below is the list of choices to pick from.

While we were on our vacation in Las Vegas we went to the Star Trek Convention and they had made a large banner made in remembrance of Anton Yeltsin. The actor who played Chekov in the last 3 Star Trek movies. All the fans could leave their personal messages on there. It was quite emotional.

I used 2 different circle stencils. The big circles are done with white paste and the smaller is paste and I mixed through the red acrylic paint. The triangle chipboard is painted with the Deep Water Acrylic paint and after that coated with crackle. The letters for the title were painted with the same Royal Red acrylic.

I cut pieces from 2 different sheets of the Summertime papers to create some layers.

Prima - October BAP - Go the Extra Mile!

Sharing with you a layout I made with the gorgeous Prima - Rossibelle collection for the October Prima BAP Challenge. They're always so much fun and the sketch is gorgeous as usual.

This time I've gone on flower overload. What better way to go when you're working with Prima products! Their flowers are just the best!

For the background I used two different stencils with paste and gesso.

The title was cut out from one of the journal cards. Perfect for our limo ride back to the airport after a fabulous vacation in Las Vegas. Going home in style!

ScrapBerry's - Primavera Card

Hallo ScrapBerry and Paper friends!
Today I'm sharing with you a card I made with the gorgeous Primavera collection. Wonderful for among other things cards and layouts.
The card today is suitable for lots of occasions. I'm loving the rich colors and they just pop when you use lots of layers.

On the Primavera Card 1 sheet you have a variety of cutouts to choose from and for this card I picked the peacock feather.
Using the left over piece of paper, I ran it through the die-cut machine and made the leaves to keep in the same color scheme.

The ScrapBerry's flowers are a perfect match.
To finish off the card I added the cute little Chipboard feather from the Birds of Paradise collection and some enamel Brads from the Fairy Tale collection.
I hope you got inspired!

Thank you for looking!

Love - Two Hearts Beating!

Love this gorgeous mood board this month at Berry71Blue!
The picture we took in Las Vegas this August had the perfect colors, all I had to do is find the right papers and build a layout around it ;)

Lately I've been enjoying working more with embellishing my backgrounds with pastes. For this layout I went with a mixture of 3 different stencils and 3 different pastes/gessos. For this layout I also did some fuzzy cutting. The 7Dots are gorgeous and have so much to offer.

It all came together when I layered it with some extra pieces of paper.
Using the just the one type of flower in one color to frame the picture with a shabby chic bow on the tag to top things off.

A final dusting of splatters to finish of the layout and we're all done.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!

Remember!

Hello Paper friends! Sharing with you a layout I made and as it turns out it fits for 2 challenges this month. Scraps and Pieces Emporium and Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo October Challenges.
This pictures was taken in the Las Vegas Bellagio. Waking through the decorations made you feel like walking in a magical forest. So gorgeous and awesome details.

I've used the 7Dots - Domestic Goddess papers and the colors are just colors are just perfect or this time of the year.
For my background I used a combination of stamps and stencils listed below.

The collection had some perfect sheets with cutouts, tags and pieces to fuzzy cut. Wonderful to create my layers. Adding the beautiful UmWow chipboard pieces and some lace for the desired effect. I just love the word stickers 7Dots always provides with their collections.

Of course no layout is complete with flowers. I combined some Prima flowers with Petaloo flowers. Some final ink splatters and we're all done!

Words & Paintery October Challenge - The Best!

Hello Paper friends!
Sharing with you a layout I made for the Words & Paintery Challenge.

I had a lot of fun starting with a blank sheet of watercolor paper and adding all the color and dimensions.
I started with a collection of stamps and after that picked out my stencil to put on the paste. I have to say the harlequin stencil is one of my faves.

I used two colors Bloom Sprays to create my background coloring's. The baby-wipe for cleaning up the little messes looked so good, just like a piece of fabric. I used it as part of my layers. Once I had the start I tucked in more and more pieces.

Adding a collection of flowers, a title, some splatters and it's done.

CSI - 215 - BOO

This month we at Flying Unicorn are Guest Designers for CSI. So cool!
Below  is the case file information that I used on making the layout!

The papers used are an older Fancy Pants collection I had in my stash and it had the perfect colors for this challenge. Just from the photo alone I was able to use things from the lists. Monsters, Fruit, Grow, just to name a few.

I used the broken glass stamp to create some background. Then got two stencils out, both with diamond shapes in different sizes and used it over the page with a blend of paste and acrylic paint.
The chipboard I colored with a variety of inks and when that was dry I covered them with crackle paint for a different effect.

No layout is complete without a nice floral arrangement. I used flowers from all different collections.
