Link to Mixed Media & Art Challenge

When I saw this challenge I immediately knew I wanted to do a reversed canvas on top of a canvas. Like it was a window. With a flower arrangement hanging from it. But then all artsy and fun. 

Above all else sunny, with all these yellows and golds, how can it not be sunny. 

I started with placing the little canvas on top of the larger one. Then put the gold crackle randomly over  it and as we all know you need to let that dry on its own to get the best cracks. After that I went over the can cas with modelling paste with the fun 13@ stencil. Once everything was dry I got the two Lindy's Starbust out and played with the mists. Some light, some dark. Some touches with the acrylics and more structure with art stones, gliter, micro-beads and sequence. I had a ball. 

The Metallique Waxes are just perfect for that little touch of extra umpff you want here and there.

The mould pieces were dry brushed with the acrylics and that extra last touch of sparkle with the Dragon's Nest Sparks makes it shine like magic. The Yellow flowers I got from Heather Thompson last year, so a shout out to her and a thank you! They are perfect for this creation. 

The flair from Cuts2Luv tied the whole piece together with the title. A bit of nostalgia.
